Late Rent Charges – £40.00 inc VAT to chase late payment in writing. Late payment will be chased weekly. Interest on arrears will be charged at a rate of 3% above the base rate of the Bank of England, charged monthly.
Charge for early termination of your contract and replacement of tenancy – £175.00 inc VAT
To make material alterations to the AST – £48.00 inc VAT.
Reasonable payment of up to £120.00 inc VAT for costs incurred costs for the loss of keys and/or security devices.
Deposits that we are Permitted to Request and Hold
When preparing a new tenancy
Property Holding Deposit: 1 weeks rent (to be held by Smiths until the tenancy starts).
Security Deposit: 5 weeks rent (to be held by Smiths until lodged with the DPS at the start of the tenancy).
